Occupying the C Floor of Vision Tower, this 19,000 sq ft facility caters to both men and women and is a platinum-level club uniquely designed to show off the brand's new image. The open plan workout area is complemented by a large entertainment wall (vital for distraction when completing that last set) and the studio offers an incredible view of the Burj Khalifa. The club has a team of Personal Trainers as well as a yoga area, members’ lounge and sauna / steam rooms in the spacious changing areas.
Originating in the UK Fitness First, and its 17 years of helping members achieve their goals, was brought to the UAE by Landmark Group. The Gym is owned and operated by husband and wife team Hud and Maxine Russell who have poured their combined 22 years of experience and passion into creating a unique concept catering to a niche cross-section of Dubai’s market. They are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of The gym in business bay, both undertaking personal training and keeping a watchful eye on everything that happens. They believe that, “every person's body and lifestyle is different - it’s our job as professionals to figure out what your body responds to”.
There is no pricing available on their website, but various monthly packages are available, ranging from 1 to 12 months with preferential rates for couples joining together. They also offer a limited number of VIP memberships each year which include 48 personal training sessions, a drink from the muscle bar on every visit, dedicated parking, a locker and 10-day passes for friends and family. Located in Bay Square Building 1, the brand was founded in 2009 and as well as well-equipped facilities with welcoming staff, they have their own coaching certification. Additionally, their diverse team specializes in personalised plans and programmes for everyone from the functional fitness beginner to the MMA expert.

Most definitely not a traditional gym, there is no mindless treadmill pounding here, nor the clang of weights being thrown carelessly around. Instead, you can take advantage of a host of group classes to help you “get fit the fun way”. Their website promises a “high-energy and exciting” atmosphere, where you can feed off the energy of other participants (or just enjoy beating them).
Their schedule includes boxing, Les Mills body pump, zumba, yoga and Pound - a new concept total-body workout using upbeat tracks and dance-based moves coupled with bright green drumsticks that you hit on the floor or in the air - live your rock n roll drummer fantasy!
