However, there are several buildings in this area that allow pets to be kept, and are accompanied by open squares and gardens. And you also have the option of going over to the Dubai Canal and taking a stroll along the boardwalk, enjoying the waterfront atmosphere.

One of the most prestigious areas in Dubai is also one of the best areas for pets. The heart of Downtown includes the gorgeous Burj Park, which is an ideal spot for pet owners. You also have the beautiful Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, which winds its way around the district, and there are buildings with dog parks located near the border of Downtown and the neighbouring Business Bay.

4. Dubai Marina
One of Dubai’s most popular residential communities, Dubai Marina offers plenty of pet-friendly options. Unfortunately the heart of the district - the 7 km Marina Walk - is no longer accessible for pets (a step that had to be taken due to irresponsible pet owners leaving messes behind), so it’s more suited for smaller, indoor pets. Though if you want to take your dog for a walk, there is a large grassy area on the northeastern corner of the Marina (near Zero Gravity) where they can stretch their legs.
5. Dubai Motor City
Motor City is a charming community of low-rise apartment blocks that features plenty of greenery and a lot of walking space. It features a villa neighbourhood known as Green Community, but even outside of that, you have a space that is quite accommodating for pedestrians of both the two-legged and four-legged variety.

This sprawling neighbourhood gives you an abundance of space to walk around explore, with three-star shaped lakes at its centre and corresponding waterfront promenades. You will also find parks, outdoor gyms and jogging trails around the area in case you want to have a quick workout with your furry friends in tow.
7. Palm Jumeirah
If you live in one of the stunning villas on the Palm’s fronds, then you have incredible stretches of private beach and spacious backyards to enjoy, but even the apartment complexes on the island are well-suited for pets. And if that’s not exercise enough, then you can go up to the Palm Boardwalk that spans the sweeping Palm Crescent.
